The girls had their Christmas Programs, the Christmas parties etc... they are out of school now until the 5th. We are enjoying our time together! We made our trip up to mom and dad's to celebrate Christmas, it was very nice! We enjoy getting all of us together, that is what it is all about anyway! All the kiddos are getting so big! We had Christmas at home and the girls have been having a wonderful time with their new toys and clothes. They have been keeping busy.
We made it up to my sister Lindsey's since we have been off and hope to make it to my mom and dad's again before we head back to school. Just keeping busy here. Happy New Years!

Almost Done........

Hello! Sorry it has been a bit since I posted, but I have been going non-stop this week.........FINAL EXAMS! Today is my last day I have had two everyday this week and two more today and then I am done! So far all looks well! YAY! So at 4pm today I will be done......until Jan 20th...! Then I am on the downward slope......4 months and I will have my RN!
This week has been very busy, both girls have their Christmas programs at school. Avery's was Tuesday night and Tinley's is tonight. School was cancelled yesterday for them due to the ice down here :( They were both supposed to have fun days at school, so they were pretty upset about it being cancelled.
Tomorrow we leave for Springfield...YAY! We are heading up to mom and dad's, (bright and early 4am) I have a dr. appt and mom is going to keep the girls for me while I do a little Christmas shopping and then Brad will meet us up there after he gets off work Friday night. Lindsey and Sean will be making their way up also and Cassie and Josh will be coming over too! This is our weekend to celebrate Christmas with each other! I am excited! I miss my family very much so I really enjoy getting to spend time with them, especially when we can all be there together!
Busy week, but looking forward to seeing my family and celebrating my hopefully passing semester and Christmas with my family!
The girls are getting ready for their dance recital on Monday and we had them get dressed into their costumes etc... so here is one of their costumes for the recital....:)

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TINLEY!!!!

Well today is my baby's birthday! She turned 5yrs old today, when she woke up this morning oo "moning" as she says it, she asked me if she was 5 today and I told her yes, then she said "mom is my body bigger?" as she pulled the covers off of her.....:) I can't believe she is 5 already! We celebrated her birthday on Sunday at the skating place in town. She had fun! It seems like yesterday when the doctor looked at us......only 32 wks gestation and said....."it is noon now, head over to the hospital and she will be here by 3pm." Wow! We were nervous! Now look at her! Happy birthday Tinley mommy loves you very much and I am so proud of you!

Weekend with the McMeen Munchkins

Well, this weekend I got to keep my niece and nephew Tristan and Isabelle. Tristan is 2yo and Isabelle is 8 months and then of course there was Avery and Tinley there to "help out" too! We had a good time, I enjoyed my time with them very much since I don't get to see them as much as I would like, yes, I will admit that I had my hands full, but of course, I had 4 children under 6yrs. My little Tristan kept calling me "Hessa" and Tinley was "Hinley" he was so cute!!! I just love him to pieces! My little Isabelle was my LITTLE CUDDLE BUG! She only wanted aunt Nessa and no one else! That was nice! :) I don't miss having two in diapers that is for sure.....been there done that! :) Thank you Lindsey for letting the kiddos come and stay with us, we would gladly do it again, but it is your turn next :) Just kidding..! Here are some pictures from the weekend.

HOME FOR THANKSGIVING!

We had a very nice visit at my mom and dad's for Thanksgiving! It was so nice for all of us to be together......unfortunately Lindsey and Sean didn't get to stay long because he wasn't feeling well at all, but it was nice to get to see my little McMeen Munchkin's.....The rest of us played Catch Phrase later that night and really had fun! The kids were happy they were at grandma and papa's and that they got to see all their aunts, uncles and cousins.....Tinley also got to celebrate her birthday up there, it was Hannah Montana central! She was so excited and so happy for all her gifts! There was HM sticker maker, HM costumes, HM make up, HM backstage closet, HM barbie that sings and talks and glows, etc.... so she is in hog heaven! I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry it has been awhile since posting, but just trying to keep up with everything around here. Today the girls have a half day of school and then we will be getting ready for the trip up to my mom and dad's. The girls are super excited to see grandma and papa and all their aunts, uncles and cousins! It will be nice to be able to spend time together all of us..it seems lately that one of the families is missing and so we don't always get to spend time with all of us together, so I am excited!
My sister Lindsey is preparing to move into their new home which is very exciting, I am very happy for them. She asked me last week if I could keep the kiddos for them next weekend, so we will be hanging out with the little McMeen's for the weekend at our house, that will be fun! I don't get to see them as much as I would like to, so we are very excited to be able to keep them.
We are getting ready for Tinley's birthday party too the weekend of the 6th, she is having a skating party and she is super excited! I can't believe she will be 5 years old! Wow!

We received a letter in the mail from St. Jude's Children's hospital as we do throughout the year asking for donations as I am sure many of you do, this year my girls were there when I opened it, and inside was a Christmas postcard that one of the children at the hospital had designed....it was very cute! The girls were really intrigued by it, especially when I read the story to them about the little one that had drawn it. Now, I always try to send something to St. Jude's even if times are tight, I have been to St. Jude's Children's Hospital as a nursing student and it is an amazing place, and to think of what all those children and families would do without St. Jude's......so anyway, the girls decided this year that along with our donation for Christmas, that these kiddo's needed something to cheer them up and the girls wanted to do something for them, so they decided that they would color Christmas pictures for each child at St. judes for Christmas, something to put a smile on their face since they can't be home with their families for Christmas......so we went and bought Christmas coloring books and 4 boxes of crayons and the girls have been coloring away! They figured if they each color half of a coloring book (Jumbo size) then they will have enough for each child at St. Judes (78 bed facility). How could a mom be any prouder?? I am so proud of my girls for doing that and wanting to put a smile on those children's faces.......that is what Christmas is about.........giving...........making someone else smile......:)
HAVE A WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING, don't eat too much and enjoy every minute with your family :)!

( I will take lots of pictures for the next posting)

Tis the season.....

Hello, I know it has been awhile since I posted last, but I have to say I have been buried with schoolwork, children, mom stuff, cook, maid, laundry service, problem solver, marriage counselor, referee, baker, bookeeper, and the list goes on and on....
Plus, in our home, this is more than just the holiday season, this is DEER SEASON........UGH! So, pretty much since Brad is gone from 4:30-7:00pm M-F and then Sat and Sun he hunts from 4am-6:30pm, we don' t get to see him very much. This is the time of year that I become the time of year that if I need Brad I have to go to the woods.....yeah right!...:) Just teasin!

So, we have just been really busy, and going off about 3 hours of sleep a night, so at this point in the semester, my body is seriously needing a break, mental, emotional and physical break! I only have a few weeks left, which includes Thanksgiving week so it is coming down to the wire and I am proud of myself for how well I have been doing, I am ready for this semester to be done and looking forward to my December break and getting to spend time with my girls, we won't go back to school until Jan 20th, so that will be nice, AND our spring schedule doesn't look near as intense, so that is exciting too, I will actually be able to take my girls to school next semester every day except Fridays, that will be great....then I will be done! (for now)

So this weekend I am studying (Brad hunting), doing laundry (Brad hunting), trying to figure out Christmas stuff on a budget :( so just keeping really busy (Brad hunting) :)!

The girls are doing well! Avery is doing better with school, they are working hard on their dances for their dance recitals in December and their Christmas programs in December also. Tinley is planning her birthday party....:) Well she thinks she is, but my baby will be 5 yrs old on December 8th I can't believe it! Wow how time flies! Yep, and Brad and I will be married 7 years on December 29th......so much going on! Well I better get back to it all and sorry it took me so long to post, I will be better. :)

Well the girls and I went to mom and dad's this weekend in Springfield. We had a very nice visit! It was nice to get home.. My parent's also celebrated their wedding anniversary of 18 years! The girls had a blast, it was great to see everyone and mom, as always had WONDEFUL food! Yumm, I ate way too much! Didn't get to see my sister Cassie for she had plans all weekend, but maybe next time we come up we will get to see them! On our way home, my sister Lindsey met us in Lebanon, we ate lunch at McD's and the kids played for about 45 min. and I got to hold Miss Izzy! It was great to see them and I was greeted by Mr. Tristan with the biggest hug ever, it was great! Well, onward and upward!

Family Weekend

We had a busy weekend! Friday we had rehearsal dinner for Brad's cousin Megan and her fiance Mark's wedding. Tinley was a flowergirl and Avery took care of the programs, guestbook and passed out the birdseed favors afterward! Saturday was the wedding, and a very busy day!
Congratulations Mr & Mrs Hammer!! It was a beautiful wedding! Glad we could share in your special day!!
Sunday the girls and I went to my sister Lindsey's for a couple hours to let the kids play, my other sister Cassie and her family came too after they had their family pictures near Lindsey's house. So all the kids got to play! The girls had a lot of fun, and Tinley is a big baby hog...so she was really enjoying it with both new baby girl cousins! It had been a while since we have seen the McMeen crew with our chaotic schedules, so it was very nice to visit! We miss them all!
The girls are now in bed, daddy just got home from hunting and mommy is studying...can't you tell? No, I will be studying all night tonight! Big exam tomorrow! Have a great week!

Lovely huh?? Yes, this is during the wedding...

Weekend with a sick child.........

Well as you can see already our "Girls Shopping Trip" got rescheduled...not cancelled, but rescheduled! Cassie and I had childcare issues, and then to top it off Tinley got sick with a horrible sinus infection which does wonders for her little attitude of course...she cracks me up!

Not too bad here......

Oh goodness................

She'll love this one when she gets older!
Temper, temper, temper!

Ahh, and she can turn it off just like that....

First Grade Update

Just thought I would send a little update on Avery's school progress... She is doing much better with her reading, she still gets discouraged, but I can see a little more confidence in her.....not to say that she enjoys it anymore than before, but it is a work in progress......

Beggs Family Farm

We took the girls to Beggs Family Farm in Sikeston Missouri this Sunday. All of the Trammel clan went and enjoyed the day! Here are some pictures! Have a great day!
